Yes, i do have a life, but if i wanted to enjoy a siege or something late in night, i would prepare myself for it. You may say that such game always had a dedicated server for my time zone (TRUE) but most of my friends and clan members and all server played more at night. I play on nc server since 2005 on Lineage II. I really dont care how many EU players the server have or not. Most EU people have lives, so they go to sleep, therefore the vast majority of online players at peak times, should be from other locations than the EU.
Peak online times in Classic are after midnight in the EU. I would be really surprised if it has a great impact. I have stopped playing Aion, but I bet there will be reports here about the change in player numbers when the EU goes live. There is a huge Latina portion in Classic, and by definition, they are not from the EU. I don't believe the claim that most of the active Classic players are from the EU, Aion retail doesn't have many EU players because there has always been EU version, which shows there is a sufficient NA player base to keep the server going. And this gave me time to really work on my crafting, gathering, aethertapping - and earn kinah for the PvE (hand made) gear I really wanted. The bots got so bad that they kill steal anything you try to kill - for drops or for kill counts. Legion of bots afk in sanctum warehouse for hours, really annoying.
